Is the Cranston Greek Festival open when it is raining?

Yes! The Festival is open Rain or Shine.
We continue cooking and serving you wonderful Greek food regardless of the weather! Our serving and seating areas are under the big tents to keep you dry. Or, swing by and pick up your favorite Greek foods and pastries as "Take Out"!

 

What are the hours for the Greek festival?

Friday, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Saturday, 12 noon - 10 p.m.

Sunday, 12 noon - 8 p.m.

 

Is there an admission charge to the festival?

Admission is free.

 

What entertainment will you have at the festival?

 

There will be Greek dancing performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There will be Greek bands playing live traditional Greek music.

You do not need a partner to Greek dance. Join the line and join the FUN!

 

When are the Greek dancers performing?

 

Odyssey Dance Troupe will be performing dances from Mainland Greece and the Greek Islands.

Friday at 7 p.m.

Saturday at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Sunday at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

 

What is the schedule for the church tours?

Friday - 8 p.m.

Saturday - 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Sunday - 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. 

Come and see our Sanctuary and learn about the Greek Orthodox Church.

Is there parking available?

On street parking is available on all roads surrounding the church.

 

Additional FREE parking is available at the Cranston West High School parking lot. Shuttles run to the festival and back to the Cranston West High School parking lot during the following hours:

Friday, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Saturday, 12 noon - 10 p.m.

Sunday, 12 noon - 8 p.m.

 

PLEASE NOTE: the Shuttle bus stop is at the corner of Curtis Street and Metropolitan Avenue on the edge of the Cranston West High School parking lot. You will see a large sign indicating the location of the shuttle bus stop. The Shuttle DOES NOT pickup/drop-off from in front of the main Cranston West High School building. 
The Shuttle bus runs for 30 minutes after Festival closing, all 3  nights.

 

Do you have handicap parking?

Handicap parking is available on the church grounds.

 

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no.
Please keep your pets at home.
The Festival grounds are very crowded. Service dogs are allowed.
